Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Shukrie Ning took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nicholas Cheng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noh Hian having to make a save. Ong Lee was a little too slow when Shukrie Ning got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 18 played minutes Launceston got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Cheng. Shukrie Ning came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ong Lee could save by the left post. Shukrie Ning took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ong Lee. Ong Lee dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of Launceston booed when Liscard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronn Hongyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Liscard's Shukrie Ning ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ong Lee. Ong Lee yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. After a rather tough play, Liscard's Darryl Hsin got a free kick in the 39th minute. Shukrie Ning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ong Lee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute Nicholas Cheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noh Hian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Ronn Hongyi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liscard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronn Hongyi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ong Lee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shukrie Ning in the 64th minute of play. Shukrie Ning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Ronn Lee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronn Hongyi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shukrie Ning hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Nicholas Cheng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noh Hian having to interfere. Darryl Hsin kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Launceston defense, Darryl Hsin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ong Lee. The Launceston fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ong Lee should have stopped the shot. Ong Lee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shah Peng in the 83rd minute of the match. When Ronn Lee came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Launceston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronn Lee couldn't finish the play. Shah Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ong Lee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shukrie Ning, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Liscard were the better team. Liscard's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
