Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Launceston's Ong Lee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afriz Au in the 3rd minute of play. Faizal Leng scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ong Lee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute, Nicholas Cheng fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Launceston getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ronn Lee hit a great ball. SK Tuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alam Shyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Afriz Au had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicholas Cheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. SK Tuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SK Tuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alam Shyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Faizal Leng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 佛陀的新家-开明的人 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Alam Shyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Danial Tee was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 佛陀的新家-开明的人's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Launceston the free kick. In the 36th minute, Nicholas Cheng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute Alam Shyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but SK Tuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SK Tuan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicholas Cheng showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 43 minute of play. In the 47th minute, Launceston's Alam Shyan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faizal Leng made a kick off. If Nicholas Cheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 佛陀的新家-开明的人's SK Tuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alam Shyan in the 66th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shukrie Tan during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of 佛陀的新家-开明的人 booed when Launceston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shukrie Tan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afriz Au sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicholas Cheng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without SK Tuan having to make a save. Shukrie Tan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in 佛陀的新家-开明的人's zone, Nicholas Cheng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. SK Tuan came out of the goal and Nicholas Cheng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Nicholas Cheng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Launceston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicholas Cheng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronn Lee blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without SK Tuan having to make a save. Ronn Lee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. SK Tuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicholas Tuan kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. After 99 played minutes 佛陀的新家-开明的人 got a freekick which was hit by Hafriz Gopala Pillai. In the 100th minute, Shukrie Tan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and 佛陀的新家-开明的人's SK Tuan didn't even have to move. Launceston were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
