The audience was convinced that Shukrie Ning's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but SK Tuan was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. SK Tuan made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Shukrie Ning sent off a good shot on target. Shah Peng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. SK Tuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Liscard got a freekick which was hit by Darryl Hsin. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shukrie Ning in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck SK Tuan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 40 minutes, Darryl Hsin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liscard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darryl Hsin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Shah Peng recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of SK Tuan. Shah Peng showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shukrie Ning stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alif Chew hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Noh Hian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faizal Leng in the 60th minute of the match. If Ronn Hongyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
