Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fariz Tioe got the match started through his kick off. Fariz Tioe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danish Namasivayam having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Fariz Tioe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fariz Tioe struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Danish Namasivayam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC LEON. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fariz Tioe in the 18th minute of play forced Tenterden City's goalkeeper Danish Namasivayam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danish Namasivayam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fariz Tioe in the 21st minute of the match. Samuel Chong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danish Namasivayam having to interfere. Merlin Dyce's late challenge caught a FC LEON's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Merlin Dyce helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes Tenterden City got a freekick which was hit by Merlin Dyce. 30 minutes into the match, Tenterden City's goal looked a bit too open when Fariz Tioe came free, but Danish Namasivayam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes Tenterden City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Siong who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC LEON's Joel Siong to fire away a dangerous shot which Danish Namasivayam despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 35th minute Famih Teo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Butcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of FC LEON:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tenterden City:s goal. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Tenterden City. Aziz Lee stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alan Butcher. 0-1. Tenterden City's Famih Teo got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Famih Teo was the one to do the kick off. Danish Namasivayam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Chong, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 56 played minutes, FC LEON's Joel Siong shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Danish Namasivayam came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC LEON reached it. In the 57th match minute, Tenterden City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aziz Lee to maneuver through the defense. Wong Chan charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wong Chan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joel Siong, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fariz Tioe in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danish Namasivayam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute, Prime Soon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tenterden City's attack was well implemented in the 67th minute, but when Iskandar Chew was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 69 minutes into the match, FC LEON's goal looked a bit too open when Famih Teo came free, but Alan Butcher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Famih Teo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Alan Butcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Alex Seah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fariz Tioe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Tenterden City defense, Samuel Chong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danish Namasivayam. The Tenterden City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danish Namasivayam should have stopped the shot. After 97 minutes, SK Hsi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC LEON and the Tenterden City players grew even worse after the yellow card. SK Hsi kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
