Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gerard Paine started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the match, Thamesmead FC's goal looked a bit too open when Shahiran Lee came free, but Faiz Yi-Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Shahiran Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faiz Yi-Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Low, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Crowngate's goalkeeper Sajeev Seng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Hsi. The long shot by Ong Tian in the 18th minute really tested Sajeev Seng's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Shahiran Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faiz Yi-Sheng having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shahiran Lee in the 22nd minute of play forced Thamesmead FC's goalkeeper Faiz Yi-Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Gabriel Low managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crowngate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Low was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faiz Yi-Sheng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Low went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thamesmead FC's Alex Hsi got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniz Chien-Kwan was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Thamesmead FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alif Teo was slow to take the kick. During this time Crowngate's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Alif Teo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Faiz Yi-Sheng quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 55 played minutes, Thamesmead FC's Ong Tian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sajeev Seng came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Thamesmead FC reached it. Alex Hsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Sajeev Seng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Low hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Shahiran Lee's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faiz Yi-Sheng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Faiz Yi-Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Lum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Crowngate's Sajeev Seng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Paine in the 70th minute of play. After 73 played minutes Crowngate got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Low. 76 minutes into the match, Crowngate's Daniz Chien-Kwan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faiz Yi-Sheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Faiz Yi-Sheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shahiran Lee in the 80th minute of the match. Alex Hsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Sajeev Seng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniz Chien-Kwan took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faiz Yi-Sheng. Faiz Yi-Sheng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Gerard Paine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sajeev Seng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
