Darryl Lam scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faizal Dryburgh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute, Afiz Kang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Faizal Dryburgh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afiz Kang in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Aldeburgh's Hamir Tee got a free kick in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darryl Lam got free with Faizal Dryburgh in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Afiz Kang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Faizal Dryburgh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Aldeburgh got a freekick which was hit by Noh Butcher. When Afiz Kang came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Hampton in Arden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afiz Kang couldn't finish the play. Darren Seng hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Asiz Yang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shah Yeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Afiz Kang struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Faizal Dryburgh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hampton in Arden. Faizal Dryburgh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darryl Lam in the 37th minute of play. Aldeburgh's Faizal Dryburgh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afiz Kang in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Afiz Kang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hampton in Arden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aldeburgh the free kick.
