Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Victor Paine came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Newmarket fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Paine couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, Zak Lee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Newmarket's Faris Dyce couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alton Towers. Alton Towers's Haziq Seah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Alton Towers from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, Farhan Butcher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haziq Seah was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zafran Yip showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alton Towers! In the 20th minute of the match Jonathan Chong sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lamar Seng skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Aziz Lim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alton Towers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aziz Lim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Danish Liang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lamar Seng was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Amirul Chai kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Aziz Lim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Azly Shyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aziz Lim in the 30th minute of play forced Newmarket's goalkeeper Lamar Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Alton Towers's Danish Liang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lamar Seng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Haziq Seah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Albert Butcher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Newmarket's goal looked a bit too open when Aziz Lim came free, but Lamar Seng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zafran Yip's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haziq Seah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Victor Paine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zafran Yip to make the kick off. Haziq Seah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Paine's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Zafran Yip cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Haziq Seah was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th match minute, Newmarket was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Butcher to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alton Towers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Faris Dyce was slow to take the kick. During this time Newmarket's players had a chance to rest. If Zafran Yip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zafran Yip recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Zak Lee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 86 minutes, Victor Paine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newmarket's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Paine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Farhan Butcher's late challenge caught a Newmarket's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Farhan Butcher helped the player get up and apologised. Farhan Butcher hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 91 played minutes, Newmarket's Faris Dyce shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Haziq Seah came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newmarket reached it. 93 minutes into the match, Newmarket's goal looked a bit too open when Aziz Lim came free, but Lamar Seng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Darren Hsi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led Alton Towers's Mujahid Nair to fire away a dangerous shot which Lamar Seng despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Newmarket fully deserved thier win.
