Sajeev Hian didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Zafran Swee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hilperton FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zafran Swee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shahron Hongyi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hafriz Cheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Temapink Capolo FC's Adam Keng got a free kick in the 18th minute. Hafriz Cheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Shahron Hongyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hafriz Cheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Hafriz Cheng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27thth minute of the game Hafriz Cheng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Temapink Capolo FC's Shahron Hongyi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Temapink Capolo FC's Jonathan Shyan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Muhammad Amin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Temapink Capolo FC's Adam Keng shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Muhammad Amin but with some difficulty.

Hilperton FC's Muhammad Amin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shahiran Lam in the 53rd minute of play. In the 59th minute Shahiran Lam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammad Amin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronn Swee charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronn Swee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shahron Hongyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hafriz Cheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Hilperton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Shahiran Lam came free, but Muhammad Amin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Shyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Shahiran Lam came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Temapink Capolo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shahiran Lam couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hilperton FC's Hafriz Cheng slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Shahron Hongyi. That made the score 2-1 after 91 minutes of play.
