Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Afiq Phua started the match with the kick off. If Azly Seng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azly Seng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rifki Seng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Vygandas Legeckas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afiq Phua went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Vygandas Legeckas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wei Xuan Chian went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Wei Xuan Chian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wei Xuan Chian had several of the Singapore LionsXII's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Vygandas Legeckas as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 36th minute, Wei Xuan Chian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wei Xuan Chian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vygandas Legeckas having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Wei Xuan Chian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bexhill on Sea's supporters rose to their feet, but Wei Xuan Chian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vygandas Legeckas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vygandas Legeckas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afiq Phua's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Gerard Ching sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Azly Seng to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Bexhill on Sea got a freekick which was hit by Amir Butcher. Afiq Phua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vygandas Legeckas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Sarb Lee's late challenge caught a Bexhill on Sea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sarb Lee helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Singapore LionsXII fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Rifki Seng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerard Ching in the 67th minute. Wei Xuan Chian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vygandas Legeckas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afiq Phua in the 71st minute of the match. Afiq Phua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vygandas Legeckas having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Bexhill on Sea got a freekick which was hit by Alex Shyan. 80 minutes into the match, Singapore LionsXII's goal looked a bit too open when Wei Xuan Chian came free, but Vygandas Legeckas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vygandas Legeckas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wei Xuan Chian in the 85th minute of the match. Azly Seng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rifki Seng having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afiq Phua in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vygandas Legeckas saved Singapore LionsXII from getting behind. After 95 minutes, Afiq Phua made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Singapore LionsXII's Vygandas Legeckas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Singapore LionsXII players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bexhill on Sea.
