Bryan Peng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alif Paine having to interfere. Timperley AFC's Adam Politiek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rifqi Ramachandran in the 15th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Timperley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rifqi Ramachandran came free, but Adam Politiek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Locksheath AFC's Alif Paine got control of the ball when Bryan Peng tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Timperley AFC defense, Rifqi Ramachandran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adam Politiek. The Timperley AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adam Politiek should have stopped the shot. Timperley AFC's Sean Sum suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Wei Xuan Tee charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wei Xuan Tee the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Alexander Ramachandran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rifqi Ramachandran struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Adam Politiek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Locksheath AFC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afiz Sarangapani during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Locksheath AFC booed when Timperley AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afiz Sarangapani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Politiek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rifqi Ramachandran, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Timperley AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Locksheath AFC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bryan Peng to strike the kick off in the second half. Afiz Sarangapani kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Rifqi Ramachandran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Adam Politiek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Politiek made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Alexander Ramachandran sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Rifqi Ramachandran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Locksheath AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rifqi Ramachandran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Politiek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adam Politiek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rifqi Ramachandran in the 59th minute of play. Zafran Tan kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Alexander Ramachandran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rifqi Ramachandran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Timperley AFC's goalkeeper Adam Politiek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. During the 94th minute of the match Zafran Tan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zafran Tan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Zafran Tan hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Alexander Ramachandran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Adam Politiek made a huge save. Locksheath AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
