Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Farhan Phua started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the game, Adrian Pitts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Adam Politiek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deon Branch in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Politiek saved Timperley AFC from getting behind. Farhan Phua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Workman having to interfere. Cliff Workman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farhan Phua in the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Zane Forrester managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macclesfield United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zane Forrester was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deon Branch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Bryan Peng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cliff Workman. Macclesfield United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bryan Peng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Pitts in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Politiek saved Timperley AFC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Timperley AFC's zone, Doug Duffield stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Politiek came out of the goal and Doug Duffield tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bryan Peng got free with Cliff Workman in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Afiz Sarangapani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Zane Forrester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Pitts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adam Politiek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Deon Branch was the one to do the kick off. Adam Politiek came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Macclesfield United's Adrian Pitts. But to his dismay, Adrian Pitts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Adam Politiek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deon Branch, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Cliff Workman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farhan Phua in the 60th minute of the match. If Bryan Peng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Deon Branch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cliff Workman came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Timperley AFC's Farhan Phua. But to his dismay, Farhan Phua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Adrian Pitts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timperley AFC's Bryan Peng got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deon Branch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Macclesfield United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
