Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Walthamstow's Beagan Colwell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gage Pillai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shah Lim in the 3rd minute of play. Gage Pillai came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Woodlesford United's Jithu Nair. But to his dismay, Jithu Nair quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Woodlesford United's Jithu Nair in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Walthamstow's goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th minute Bakar Chan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gage Pillai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th play minute Beagan Colwell came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ong Low. 1-1. 17 minutes into the game, Woodlesford United's Bakar Chan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gage Pillai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Ong Low took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Siong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walthamstow's Beagan Colwell was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Shah Lim fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Woodlesford United's protests and gave Shah Lim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Jithu Nair left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Woodlesford United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Beagan Colwell took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ong Low. Ong Low dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-3 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jithu Nair stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Walthamstow's goal looked a bit too open when Jithu Nair came free, but Gage Pillai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jithu Nair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gage Pillai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beagan Colwell scored 5-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ong Low, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Woodlesford United's Ong Low played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beagan Colwell in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Woodlesford United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shah Lim to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Beagan Colwell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ong Low. Woodlesford United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beagan Colwell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-3. In the 66th match minute, Walthamstow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zack Phua to maneuver through the defense. If Steven Siong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bakar Chan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Gage Pillai when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Steven Siong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Woodlesford United's Jithu Nair in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Walthamstow's goalie prevented a goal. Beagan Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ong Low tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jithu Nair in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gage Pillai saved Walthamstow from getting behind. 89 minutes into the game, Zak Yeo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Woodlesford United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Walthamstow the free kick. A collision led to Woodlesford United getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Zak Yeo hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Jithu Nair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gage Pillai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Walthamstow's Azly Sum got a free kick in the 94th minute. Walthamstow's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
