Muhammad Kool lost his temper 4 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Derby. Darryl Lim stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gara Seng. 1-0. Ryan Butcher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Alam Phua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Khairul Lee put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gara Seng. In the 28th minute Danial Phua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alam Phua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Danial Phua came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Great Leighs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danial Phua couldn't finish the play. Alam Phua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Liang in the 32nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Khairul Lee to strike the kick off in the second half. Khairul Lee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rifqi Hongyi in the 53rd minute of play forced Great Leighs's goalkeeper Gara Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khairul Lee in the 59th minute of play forced Great Leighs's goalkeeper Gara Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gara Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Liang in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Dale Nagasaki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gara Seng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute Khairul Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gara Seng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dale Nagasaki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Rifqi Hongyi notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Great Leighs's Gara Seng. Gara Seng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gara Seng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rifqi Hongyi went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khairul Lee in the 85th minute of play forced Great Leighs's goalkeeper Gara Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amir Tan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khairul Lee in the 96th minute of play forced Great Leighs's goalkeeper Gara Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
