Gara Seng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shahiran Cho, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Sajeev Politiek hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Khairil Henderson made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Great Leighs's Amir Tan. A collision led to Great Leighs getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Muhammad Kool hit a great ball. In the 21st match minute, Great Leighs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danial Phua to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Grove booed when Great Leighs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danial Phua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shahiran Cho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mohammad Hee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amir Tan hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Grove's Merlin Seng got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Amir Tan fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Great Leighs's protests and gave Amir Tan a yellow card for diving instead. Amir Tan hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The supporters of Great Leighs booed when Grove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khairil Henderson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hafriz Ching charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hafriz Ching the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anil Chai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lee Hoe having to interfere. Great Leighs's Amir Tan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Khairil Henderson in the 67 minute of the game. After having played for 69 minutes, Anil Chai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Great Leighs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anil Chai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Rifki Yip reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gara Seng. The goal made the score 1-1. If Danial Phua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Merlin Seng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Gara Seng made a huge save. Ryan Butcher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Lee Hoe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lee Hoe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anil Chai's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Gara Seng made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Merlin Seng sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Anil Chai notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Grove's Lee Hoe. Lee Hoe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 91 minutes into the match, Great Leighs's goal looked a bit too open when Shahiran Cho came free, but Gara Seng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khai Politiek kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
