The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Didi Ning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Seng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Lee Koh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Seng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes Bovingdon got a freekick which was hit by Albert Choo. In the 14th minute, Alif Hock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albert Choo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Gage Chian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dale Abdul struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Darren Seng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MEGAULTRASUPERSCHLONG. 30 minutes into the match, Bovingdon's goal looked a bit too open when Lee Koh came free, but Darren Seng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Dale Abdul had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Darren Seng. Bovingdon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dale Abdul was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dale Abdul struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Darren Seng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MEGAULTRASUPERSCHLONG. When Rifki Butcher came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the MEGAULTRASUPERSCHLONG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rifki Butcher couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute Gage Chian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Seng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Bovingdon defense, Gage Chian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darren Seng. The Bovingdon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darren Seng should have stopped the shot. The Bovingdon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MEGAULTRASUPERSCHLONG were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Seng was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Darren Seng successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dale Abdul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alif Hock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bovingdon's Darren Seng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Bovingdon from getting a goal against them.
