Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Alexander Dryburgh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Darren Seng made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Singh in the 5th minute of play forced Bovingdon's goalkeeper Darren Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Albert Choo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darren Seng made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Azli Dhanabalan sent off a good shot on target. Tan Tian kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mark Seng in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jithu Pillai saved Oakengates AFC from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Oakengates AFC's Darren Seng threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabriel Singh, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 18 minutes into the match, Alexander Dryburgh notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bovingdon's Darren Seng. Darren Seng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Oakengates AFC's goalkeeper Jithu Pillai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Mark Seng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bovingdon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Bovingdon getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Albert Choo hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Gabriel Singh reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Darren Seng. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 33rdth minute of the game Mark Seng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oakengates AFC's Jithu Pillai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute Mark Seng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jithu Pillai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Mark Seng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jithu Pillai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Seng to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Mark Seng tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jithu Pillai saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Oakengates AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ong Dyce hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Mark Seng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jithu Pillai was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 56 minutes into the game, Ong Dyce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oakengates AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bovingdon the free kick. A collision led to Oakengates AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ong Dyce hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Oakengates AFC's zone, Mark Seng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jithu Pillai came out of the goal and Mark Seng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Seng's late challenge caught a Bovingdon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Seng helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes Oakengates AFC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Seng. 61 minutes into the game, Albert Choo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bovingdon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oakengates AFC the free kick. A collision led to Bovingdon getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Albert Choo hit a great ball. Daniel Seng kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Bovingdon booed when Oakengates AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ong Dyce didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bovingdon's Mark Seng in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oakengates AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Gabriel Singh took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darren Seng. Darren Seng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Mark Seng scored 3-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jithu Pillai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Dryburgh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Darren Seng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Bovingdon's Albert Choo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Albert Choo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bovingdon protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Albert Choo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 81 minutes into the game, one of Bovingdon:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Azli Dhanabalan shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 89 minutes into the match, Bovingdon's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Dryburgh came free, but Darren Seng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tan Tian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oakengates AFC's Jithu Pillai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Oakengates AFC from getting a goal against them. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
