Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fariz Tioe started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Dale Sim had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 5 minutes, Mark Singh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wynem and the Runcorn AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wynem fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Runcorn AFC a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Noh Ramachandran, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wynem's Muhammad Abdul. 1-0. Runcorn AFC's Faiz Shiong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fariz Tioe in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Wynem's Muhammad Abdul got control of the ball when Aziz Singh tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Wynem getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Azli Pieng hit a great ball. Firdauz Devan kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Runcorn AFC's Noh Ramachandran couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Wynem. Fariz Tioe struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Faiz Shiong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wynem. Fariz Tioe charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fariz Tioe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Fariz Tioe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 34 minutes, Aziz Singh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Runcorn AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aziz Singh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute of the match, Muhammad Namasivayam tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Muhammad Abdul saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 38th minute, Muhammad Namasivayam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aziz Singh's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Muhammad Abdul skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bakar Hee in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faiz Shiong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Choy kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. With his leg Muhammad Abdul managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Runcorn AFC's Aziz Singh fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aziz Singh to make the kick off. The supporters of Wynem booed when Runcorn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iskandar Choo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bakar Hee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Muhammad Abdul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aziz Singh's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Fariz Tioe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Faiz Shiong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fariz Tioe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Runcorn AFC's goalkeeper Faiz Shiong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bakar Hee. Aziz Singh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Muhammad Abdul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merlin Lim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The attack was good, but when Aziz Singh in the 71st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Muhammad Namasivayam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Faiz Shiong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fariz Tioe, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Bakar Hee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muhammad Namasivayam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Muhammad Abdul read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. SK Chian hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
