Runcorn AFC's Aziz Singh got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Runcorn AFC's goalkeeper Faiz Shiong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darryl Ning. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Shah Yi-Sheng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cirencester AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shah Yi-Sheng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faiz Shiong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dale Sim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aziz Singh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Kool having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Dale Sim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Runcorn AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dale Sim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicholas Kool breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dale Sim in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicholas Kool saved Cirencester AFC from getting behind. Aziz Singh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamir Hoe's late challenge caught a Runcorn AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamir Hoe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Hamir Hoe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Dale Sim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Runcorn AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dale Sim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicholas Kool breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicholas Kool didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aziz Singh went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Azam Keng hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Noh Ramachandran sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cirencester AFC's Nicholas Kool didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shah Yi-Sheng in the 46th minute of play forced Runcorn AFC's goalkeeper Faiz Shiong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dale Sim to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Darryl Ning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Cirencester AFC's Darryl Ning sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faiz Shiong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Faiz Shiong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shah Yi-Sheng's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The supporters of Cirencester AFC booed when Runcorn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muhammad Namasivayam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hamir Hoe hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cirencester AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gage Devan hit a great ball. Aziz Singh struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Nicholas Kool didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Runcorn AFC. Shah Yi-Sheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Aziz Singh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Runcorn AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aziz Singh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicholas Kool breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shah Yi-Sheng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Joel Chien-Kwan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicholas Kool was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ron Peng. In the 96th match minute, Runcorn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merlin Lim to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Runcorn AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cirencester AFC.
