Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Faizal Soon made the kick off which started today's match. After 6 minutes, Gara Chai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bridlington and the Ashington players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Bridlington got a freekick which was hit by Gara Chai. Bryan Rajah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Haziq Seng made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, Ashington's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Hong came free, but Amirul Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Ashington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anil Liang to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bridlington booed when Ashington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Dyce didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Darren Sim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes, Bridlington's Mohammad Politiek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amirul Teo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bridlington reached it. Mark Dyce hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute John Hongyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amirul Teo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ashington's Mark Dyce got a free kick in the 19th minute. A collision led to Ashington getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mark Dyce hit a great ball. Ali Hong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amirul Teo came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Bridlington's Ali Hong. But to his dismay, Ali Hong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bryan Rajah got free with Haziq Seng in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the last second Haziq Seng throw himself and got hold of the ball when Faizal Soon in the 33rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Bridlington getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ali Hong hit a great ball. Farhan Chee who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Haziq Seng when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faizal Soon in the 40th minute of play forced Bridlington's goalkeeper Haziq Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khai Liang lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Khai Liang hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After 49 played minutes, Bridlington's Mohammad Politiek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amirul Teo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bridlington reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sharizan Cho made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Bridlington's goal looked a bit too open when Bryan Rajah came free, but Haziq Seng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bryan Rajah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haziq Seng having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Bridlington's Amirul Teo threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gara Chai, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 74 played minutes Bridlington got a freekick which was hit by Sharizan Cho. Amirul Teo made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ali Hong sent off a good shot on target. Amirul Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sharizan Cho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bridlington booed when Ashington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darren Sim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sharizan Cho struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Amirul Teo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bridlington. If John Hongyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amirul Teo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gara Chai, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Sharizan Cho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amirul Teo. Sharizan Cho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The Ashington supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bridlington's performance. The match ended with a win for Bridlington.
