Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniz Swee made the kick off which started today's match. Daniz Swee blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Yip having to make a save. In the 4th minute, Faizal Choy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faizal Choy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hafriz Hong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bakar Tian having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Joel Koh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stoneleigh AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Koh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bakar Tian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kingswood FC's goalkeeper Bakar Tian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hafriz Hong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Yip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniz Swee in the 35th minute of the match. If Joel Koh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Hafriz Hong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stoneleigh AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hafriz Hong was the one to do the kick off. Joel Koh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Bakar Tian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Yip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniz Swee in the 61st minute of the match. Hafriz Hong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hafriz Hong in the 67th minute of play forced Kingswood FC's goalkeeper Bakar Tian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Koh might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bakar Tian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Koh ran back to his position shaking his head. If Hafriz Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Daniz Swee came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Kingswood FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniz Swee couldn't finish the play. Prime Vijiaratnam kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Hafriz Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Joel Koh managed to get in a good position for a shot. One of Kingswood FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stoneleigh AFC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 84 minutes, Stoneleigh AFC's Mujahid Abdul got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bakar Tian. After a defensive mix-up in Stoneleigh AFC's zone, Daniz Swee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Yip came out of the goal and Daniz Swee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mark Abdul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Yip having to interfere. Mark Yip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniz Swee in the 96th minute of play. The Stoneleigh AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stoneleigh AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
