Kingswood FC were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after FC Barçelona B's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Prime Vijiaratnam took the corner. Adam Butcher might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bakar Tian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Butcher ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute, Nicholas Kool hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Barçelona B's Adam Butcher got a free kick in the 34th minute. FC Barçelona B's Hafriz Sim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Abdul in the 38th minute of play. Hafriz Sim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniz Swee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniz Swee in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hafriz Sim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Yeo charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Yeo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes FC Barçelona B got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Yeo. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniz Swee to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Kingswood FC's Daniz Boon got a free kick in the 55th minute. Hafriz Sim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Abdul in the 59th minute. Bakar Tian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Butcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Barçelona B were furious when Zack Yi-Sheng was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Barçelona B! The goalkeeper, Hafriz Sim, was totally fooled by Kingswood FC's Prime Vijiaratnam, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 69 minutes, Adam Butcher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barçelona B's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Butcher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, FC Barçelona B's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mark Abdul fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hafriz Sim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniz Swee in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Mark Abdul managed to get in a good position for a shot. If Daniz Swee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Abdul got free with Hafriz Sim in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hafriz Sim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniz Swee in the 91st minute of the match. Kingswood FC's Mark Abdul got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Daniz Swee took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Hafriz Sim to make any attempt to save it.
