Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hafriz Yang kicked off to start the match. Leconfield's Shahron Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hafriz Yang in the 10th minute of play. When Hafriz Yang came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Halstead fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hafriz Yang couldn't finish the play. Haziq Yip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hafriz Soon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khai Gopala Pillai having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Leconfield's Shafiq Rajah got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Haziq Yip came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Halstead fans jumped to their feet. In the 27th minute Hafriz Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shahron Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Halstead's Hafriz Yang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Shahron Lim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hidayat Seng kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, Halstead's Khai Gopala Pillai got control of the ball when Hafriz Soon tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Leconfield's Dale Mathews in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Halstead's goalie prevented a goal. Haziq Yip's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shahron Lim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Dale Mathews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khai Gopala Pillai having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Dale Mathews managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leconfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Dale Mathews was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khai Gopala Pillai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dale Mathews in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khai Gopala Pillai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Leconfield players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Halstead were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dale Mathews made a kick off. Khai Gopala Pillai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Mathews in the 54th minute of the match. Dale Mathews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khai Gopala Pillai having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Haziq Yip managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halstead's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haziq Yip was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hidayat Seng's late challenge caught a Leconfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hidayat Seng helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, one of Halstead:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Halstead. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Leconfield. Sharizan Politiek stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Khai Gopala Pillai. 1-1. If Hafriz Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hafriz Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sharizan Cho hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Halstead's Sharizan Cho got a free kick in the 76th minute. Dale Mathews recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dale Mathews received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Khai Gopala Pillai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shafiq Rajah in the 91st minute of play forced Halstead's goalkeeper Khai Gopala Pillai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haziq Yip might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shahron Lim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haziq Yip ran back to his position shaking his head. Leconfield were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
