In the 17th minute, Aziz Rajah made a precise shot to the right of Faizal Lim. Yaptoon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The wind increased when Rifki Soon made the kick off in the second half. Faizal Lim was a little too slow when Aziz Rajah got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-7. Faizal Lim didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. Faizal Lim was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Yaptoon getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Merlin Tee hit a great ball. In the 96th minute Aziz Rajah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faizal Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saltaire played a much better game than Yaptoon and deserved their victory. The Yaptoon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
