Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ipplepens's Tan Vijiaratnam started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dale Pieng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Samuel Seng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prime Chandran in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Samuel Seng, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Prime Chandran came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Samuel Seng could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tan Vijiaratnam in the 20th minute of play forced Prudhoe's goalkeeper John Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ipplepens's Samuel Seng got control of the ball when Prime Chandran tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Dale Pieng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prudhoe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Prime Chandran struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Samuel Seng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prudhoe. In the 36th minute, Prime Chandran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prudhoe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Prime Chandran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. When Dale Pieng, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 40 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Samuel Seng was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Prime Chandran in the 42nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a rather tough play, Ipplepens's Faris Chew got a free kick in the 45th minute. Rudy Siong took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samuel Seng. Ipplepens's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 47 minutes of play Ipplepens's Afiz Tioe was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Prime Chandran made the kick off in the second half. Samuel Seng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prime Chandran in the 53rd minute of play. Alexander Hong got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Ipplepens getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Alexander Hong hit a great ball. Samuel Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Ching in the 57th minute of the match. Prime Chandran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Prime Chandran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prudhoe's supporters rose to their feet, but Prime Chandran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Seng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prime Chandran struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Samuel Seng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prudhoe. In the 72nd minute Prime Chandran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Seng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Prime Chandran came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Prudhoe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prime Chandran couldn't finish the play. Prime Chandran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Seng having to make a save. Samuel Seng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dale Pieng's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prime Chandran in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Seng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rudy Siong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Prime Chandran notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ipplepens's Samuel Seng. Samuel Seng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Prime Chandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Seng having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Prudhoe had played much better football throughout.
