Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jerry Devan made the kick off which started today's match. Gerard Yi-Sheng kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Jerry Devan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Famih Henderson made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Faris Chew sent off a good shot on target. Victor Wah hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerry Devan in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Seng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samuel Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ong Sarangapani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute of the match Shah Ee sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Seng skillfully saved the ball. Ong Sarangapani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Seng having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Alexander Hong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ipplepens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holford United the free kick. The supporters of Holford United booed when Ipplepens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Hong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ong Sarangapani might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Seng. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ong Sarangapani ran back to his position shaking his head. Jerry Devan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Samuel Seng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Jerry Devan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holford United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerry Devan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Seng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute of the match Gara Tuan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Seng showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 40th minute, Afiz Tioe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ipplepens defense, Jerry Devan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Seng. The Ipplepens fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Seng should have stopped the shot. Ong Sarangapani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Samuel Seng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Holford United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tan Vijiaratnam to make the kick off. Samuel Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Devan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Seng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Devan, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 63rd minute of the match, Jerry Devan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Samuel Seng saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ipplepens's Samuel Seng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Devan in the 68th minute of play. Ong Sarangapani came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Samuel Seng could save by the left post. Ipplepens's Samuel Seng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Ipplepens from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Ipplepens's goalkeeper Samuel Seng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ong Sarangapani. Jerry Devan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Afiz Tioe took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Famih Henderson. Famih Henderson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Holford United were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
