Prime Chandran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Holford United's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Pieng came free, but Famih Henderson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes, Muhammad Singh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holford United and the Prudhoe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Victor Wah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15thth minute of the game Dale Pieng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holford United's Famih Henderson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Prudhoe's Prime Chandran in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Holford United's goalie prevented a goal. 22 minutes into the match, Ong Sarangapani notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Prudhoe's John Cheng. John Cheng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Shah Sum charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shah Sum the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Prudhoe getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Shah Sum hit a great ball. In the 30th match minute, Prudhoe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Ching to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Jerry Devan took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for John Cheng to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Holford United getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Asiz Lee hit a great ball. In the 42nd match minute, Prudhoe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudy Siong to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Shah Ee from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got John Cheng's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Samuel Ching kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match Gara Tuan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but John Cheng showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
After a rather tough play, Prudhoe's Samuel Ching got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Devan in the 55th minute of play forced Prudhoe's goalkeeper John Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shah Ee during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute, Shah Ee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Devan in the 59th minute of play forced Prudhoe's goalkeeper John Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes Holford United got a freekick which was hit by Shah Ee. Famih Henderson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rudy Siong. In the 66th minute, Dale Pieng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prime Chandran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Famih Henderson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prime Chandran went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Prime Chandran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Famih Henderson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Prudhoe getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Samuel Ching hit a great ball. When Ong Sarangapani came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Holford United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ong Sarangapani couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Holford United's Famih Henderson got control of the ball when Dale Pieng tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 89 minutes, Jerry Devan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holford United and the Prudhoe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rudy Siong placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Prime Chandran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prudhoe's John Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ong Sarangapani in the 93rd minute of play. Prime Chandran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Famih Henderson made a huge save. When the referee blew the final whistle, Holford United could leave the field as winners, despite Prudhoe having more of the ball for most of the match.
