In the 7th match minute, Cowley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Villagracia to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Cowley FC's Andrew Songco got control of the ball when Jeremias Cuaresma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joseph Locsin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesan Paraoan in the 12th minute of the match. Aries Macatumpag received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Andrew Songco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrew Songco didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Andrew Songco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aries Macatumpag, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Andrew Songco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aries Macatumpag's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Aries Macatumpag had several of the Cowley FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Andrew Songco as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aries Macatumpag in the 35th minute of play forced Cowley FC's goalkeeper Andrew Songco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Horace Borromeo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jojo Balimbin struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Joseph Locsin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cowley FC. In the 45th minute, Marshall Orcullo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jojo Balimbin to strike the kick off in the second half. Aries Macatumpag scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrew Songco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeremias Cuaresma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrew Songco having to make a save. Pearl Galacio kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Aries Macatumpag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cowley FC's Otto Villagracia got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Otto Villagracia off the ground. In the 65th minute, Otto Villagracia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Aries Macatumpag notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Cowley FC's Andrew Songco. Andrew Songco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Cowley FC defense, Aries Macatumpag kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrew Songco. The Cowley FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrew Songco should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Darlington City's Aries Macatumpag sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrew Songco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aries Macatumpag received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Andrew Songco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cowley FC's Andrew Songco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Cuaresma in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Aries Macatumpag got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jojo Balimbin kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Aries Macatumpag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cowley FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
