Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Benhur Paraoan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Pearl Orcullo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Docklands's goalkeeper Pearl Orcullo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Benhur Paraoan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Philippine Patriots's supporters rose to their feet, but Benhur Paraoan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pearl Orcullo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carl Italia hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Pearl Orcullo came out of the goal and Benhur Paraoan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jason Manzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Ablang, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benhur Paraoan was the one to do the kick off. Philippine Patriots's Jason Manzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Ablang in the 54th minute of play. Jason Manzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Ablang in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Philippine Patriots's Bernabe Ubendu got a free kick in the 57th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Philippine Patriots players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
