Alonzo Duyan scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvin Tagatac, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Phil Macadangdang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willard Coquia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvin Tagatac read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Alvin Tagatac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willard Coquia in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Phil Sadural hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvin Tagatac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willard Coquia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alonzo Duyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Alvin Tagatac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonzo Duyan might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvin Tagatac. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alonzo Duyan ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvin Tagatac stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Willard Coquia's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Alonzo Duyan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Woodchurch's goalkeeper Alvin Tagatac, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Phil Macadangdang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Lance Quison made a huge save. If Phil Sadural had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willard Coquia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hernando Ulanday charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hernando Ulanday the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Peanut Taboyayong might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvin Tagatac. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peanut Taboyayong ran back to his position shaking his head. Phil Macadangdang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Lance Quison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Regelio Baradi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Regelio Baradi kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Wymondham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Regelio Baradi to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Alonzo Duyan could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Alvin Tagatac however easily saved by the left post. After 85 minutes, Regelio Baradi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wymondham and the Woodchurch players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lance Quison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phil Macadangdang in the 90th minute of the match. Phil Sadural fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Quison having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wymondham eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
