After a defensive mix-up in Helsby's zone, Brad Japson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raminos Maybituin came out of the goal and Brad Japson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gus Cangco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Tengco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilbur Bedic charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilbur Bedic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wilbur Bedic kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Jeronimo Mangkay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Raminos Maybituin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brad Japson in the 20th minute of play forced Helsby's goalkeeper Raminos Maybituin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gus Cangco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harvey Galang in the 21st minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Wallasey's Jeronimo Mangkay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raminos Maybituin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute Natanael Tengco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gus Cangco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brad Japson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raminos Maybituin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natanael Tengco to make the kick off. Milton Pansoy charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. If Brad Japson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raminos Maybituin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brad Japson in the 64th minute of play. Harvey Galangs short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Gus Cangco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Raminos Maybituin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brad Japson, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Brad Japson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raminos Maybituin having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Brad Japson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Helsby's Raminos Maybituin. Raminos Maybituin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilbur Bedic got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Wilbur Bedic hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Brad Japson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brad Japson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Raminos Maybituin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
