Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Papi Masibay got the match started through his kick off. Allen Paranpan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Feliciano Dimson came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Bridlington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Dimson couldn't finish the play. Ali Vinoray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xarex Gacungan, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Igme Querimit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Manila Bears's Adolph Tumanda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noli Madlangsakit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Papi Masibay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Noli Madlangsakit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Wowowee Bascon fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bridlington's protests and gave Wowowee Bascon a yellow card for diving instead. Ali Vinoray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Dimson, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Oscar Dacalcap put in a rough tackle. Ali Vinoray made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Wowowee Bascon sent off a good shot on target. Adolph Tumanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Noli Madlangsakit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noli Madlangsakit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolph Tumanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xarex Gacungan's late challenge caught a Manila Bears's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xarex Gacungan helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Bridlington got a freekick which was hit by Xarex Gacungan. Adolph Tumanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Noli Madlangsakit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Grover Galang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manila Bears's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grover Galang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bridlington's zone, Adolph Tumanda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noli Madlangsakit came out of the goal and Adolph Tumanda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliciano Dimson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Grover Galang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grover Galang in the 67th minute of play forced Bridlington's goalkeeper Noli Madlangsakit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manila Bears's Grover Galang got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feb Bengco kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Grover Galang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manila Bears's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grover Galang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Allen Paranpan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Noli Madlangsakit made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Alex Llaban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noli Madlangsakit was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Allen Paranpan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes in the game, Grover Galang fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Noli Madlangsakit having to interfere. If Grover Galang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, one of Manila Bears:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Manila Bears players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
