The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Ellesmere Port FC. Dan Ariel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jejomar Benipayo. 0-1. Gilbert Sabile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Nieto having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Isle Of Dogs United's Gilbert Sabile sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harold Nieto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Isle Of Dogs United getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Patrick Tecson hit a great ball. If Dawang Taasan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Gilbert Sabile made the kick off in the second half. Curtis Dayanan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Jejomar Benipayo made a huge save. After 58 played minutes Isle Of Dogs United got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Tecson. If Irvine Lagos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harold Nieto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irvine Lagos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Irvine Lagos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Harold Nieto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Irvine Lagos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harold Nieto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Gilbert Sabile ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harold Nieto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Harold Nieto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irvine Lagos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christopher Napalan hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Ellesmere Port FC's goal looked a bit too open when Irvine Lagos came free, but Harold Nieto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Ellesmere Port FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Napalan to maneuver through the defense. Gilbert Sabile's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harold Nieto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Gilbert Sabile left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Isle Of Dogs United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Isle Of Dogs United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
