Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Jose Yamguas made the kick off and thus started the match. Salvatore Delasin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Joe Sablon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peterborough United's Melvin Guanlao got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Salvatore Delasin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astley United's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvatore Delasin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joe Sablon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Jovanie Pansoy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joe Sablon, 1-0. After 19 played minutes Peterborough United got a freekick which was hit by Ross Callangan. In the 23rd minute, Cornelius Naguiat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melvin Guanlao in the 25th minute of play forced Astley United's goalkeeper Sebastiano Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelius Naguiat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Astley United's zone, Melvin Guanlao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastiano Perez came out of the goal and Melvin Guanlao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melvin Guanlao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvatore Delasin got free with Joe Sablon in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melvin Guanlao made a kick off. Melvin Guanlao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastiano Perez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Jose Yamguas struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Joe Sablon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astley United. Cornelius Naguiat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastiano Perez made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Cornelius Naguiat sent off a good shot on target. Joe Sablon didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Astley United's Jose Yamguas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Salvatore Delasin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Sablon having to interfere. Peterborough United's Joe Sablon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvatore Delasin in the 68th minute of play. Xarex Nacapuy's late challenge caught a Peterborough United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xarex Nacapuy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Astley United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xarex Nacapuy to maneuver through the defense. If Melvin Guanlao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ross Callangan hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Astley United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Francis Echin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 88 played minutes Astley United got a freekick which was hit by Navid Tiaoqui. Melvin Guanlao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastiano Perez having to interfere. Melvin Guanlao blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastiano Perez having to make a save. After 100 minutes, Cornelius Naguiat made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Astley United's Sebastiano Perez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Astley United succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Peterborough United had controlled the match.
