Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Noah Pacubas got the match started through his kick off. Mark Jacutin was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Bayani Vianzon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bayani Vianzon really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Cressage City's Bayani Vianzon got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mark Jacutin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayani Vianzon in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match Szeke Quimot shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Gatbonton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Julius Tiongson's late challenge caught a Rugeley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julius Tiongson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cressage City getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Julius Tiongson hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, Edgar Malabuyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cressage City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rugeley the free kick. Edgar Malabuyo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Noah Pacubas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Bayani Vianzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noah Pacubas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Samuel Gatbonton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Jacutin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayani Vianzon in the 31st minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Bayani Vianzon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rugeley's Mark Jacutin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Noah Pacubas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Noah Pacubas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bayani Vianzon to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Rugeley booed when Cressage City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bayani Vianzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute Noah Pacubas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Gatbonton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noah Pacubas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Gatbonton having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noah Pacubas in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Gatbonton saved Cressage City from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Dakila Sia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 59 minutes, Noah Pacubas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rugeley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noah Pacubas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dakila Sia during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cressage City getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Dakila Sia hit a great ball. Nicholas Batungbacal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Samuel Gatbonton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bayani Vianzon came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Cressage City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bayani Vianzon couldn't finish the play. Bayani Vianzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Jacutin having to interfere. Mark Jacutin came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cressage City's Bayani Vianzon. But to his dismay, Bayani Vianzon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Rugeley's Noah Pacubas got a free kick in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Bartolome Bagadiong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cressage City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rugeley the free kick. Bartolome Bagadiong kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When Rugeley's Noah Pacubas in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cressage City's goalie prevented a goal. 80 minutes into the match, Cressage City's goalkeeper Samuel Gatbonton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicholas Batungbacal. After a defensive mix-up in Cressage City's zone, Noah Pacubas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Gatbonton came out of the goal and Noah Pacubas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julius Tiongson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Jacutin having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jovin Lapuz during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Rugeley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jovin Lapuz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 96 minutes, Padi Laganson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cressage City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Padi Laganson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rugeley's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
