After a rather tough play, General Santos City AFC's Inocencio Omaga got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute, General Santos City AFC's Stanley Macapugay dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Romnick Tengco had several of the Bradford AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Edwin Valeroso as he didn't even see the shot coming. A hard shot 29 in the game by Kapayas Benitez from a close distance when the talented Edwin Valeroso managed to make a qualified save. Bradford AFC's players were relieved. When Stanley Macapugay came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the General Santos City AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanley Macapugay couldn't finish the play. Edwin Valeroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanley Macapugay, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 35 minutes, Xarex Dacalcap mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bradford AFC and the General Santos City AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xarex Dacalcap kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A hard shot 37 in the game by Romnick Tengco from a close distance when the talented Edwin Valeroso managed to make a qualified save. Bradford AFC's players were relieved. In the 38thth minute of the game Romnick Tengco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bradford AFC's Edwin Valeroso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanley Macapugay in the 40th minute of play forced Bradford AFC's goalkeeper Edwin Valeroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romnick Tengco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Edwin Valeroso made a huge save. Romnick Tengco made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 45thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Edwin Valeroso would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Romnick Tengcos short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Edwin Valeroso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romnick Tengco was the one to do the kick off. Melchor Licuanan kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Stanley Macapugay put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edwin Valeroso. Stanley Macapugay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edwin Valeroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romnick Tengco in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Romnick Tengco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Valeroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of General Santos City AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bradford AFC:s goal. When Xarex Dacalcap was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. The supporters of General Santos City AFC booed when Bradford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xarex Dacalcap didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kapayas Benitez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Romnick Tengco sped through Bradford AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edwin Valeroso. Bradford AFC's Edwin Valeroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanley Macapugay in the 88th minute of play. When General Santos City AFC's Stanley Macapugay in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bradford AFC's goalie prevented a goal.
