The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, one of Kampungteko:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kampungteko. Porman Wibowo had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Sigit Mainaky's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 15 minutes, Taufik Priyatno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kampungteko and the Sofifi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kampungteko getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Taufik Priyatno hit a great ball. Taufik Priyatno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Donny Budikusuma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hastomo Darwis struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Porman Wibowo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sofifi FC. In the 31st match minute, Kampungteko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adith Wijaya to maneuver through the defense. If Taufik Priyatno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Porman Wibowo came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Sofifi FC's Djati Simanungkalit. But to his dismay, Djati Simanungkalit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

The wind increased when Hastomo Darwis made the kick off in the second half. Djati Simanungkalit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Porman Wibowo having to make a save. Taufik Priyatno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Donny Budikusuma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 minutes, Haryanto Romatua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kampungteko and the Sofifi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Haryanto Romatua kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the last second Porman Wibowo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hastomo Darwis in the 77thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Haryanto Karo-karo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donny Budikusuma having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Haryanto Karo-karo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kampungteko's supporters rose to their feet, but Haryanto Karo-karo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donny Budikusuma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 90 minutes, Taufik Priyatno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kampungteko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taufik Priyatno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 94 minutes, Donnie Simamora mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sofifi FC and the Kampungteko players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Sofifi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donnie Simamora to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hastomo Darwis in the 99th minute of play forced Kampungteko's goalkeeper Porman Wibowo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sofifi FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
