Sofifi FC's Donny Budikusuma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boy Sitepu in the 21st minute of play. Ricky Eiboy made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Djati Simanungkalit sent off a good shot on target. Bento Ramadhonna's late challenge caught a Sofifi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bento Ramadhonna helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sinjantung getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bento Ramadhonna hit a great ball. Jojo Suprianto charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jojo Suprianto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Hastomo Darwis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Djati Simanungkalit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hastomo Darwis was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Hastomo Darwis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Sofifi FC's Hastomo Darwis got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reynaldo Kusumah charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reynaldo Kusumah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reynaldo Kusumah kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Robbie Cahyono Putro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Donny Budikusuma skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sinjantung eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
