Joko Barus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rochy Sinuraya in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Tono Romatua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tono Romatua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Djati Darwis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Jamoer booed when Gampengrejo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candra Martin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tono Romatua in the 25th minute of play forced Gampengrejo's goalkeeper Djati Darwis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gampengrejo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jamoer the free kick. Fery Mainaky kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 minutes Gampengrejo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Femi Mainaky who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Jamoer's Femi Mainaky to fire away a dangerous shot which Djati Darwis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 38 minutes, Tiar Kaban mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jamoer and the Gampengrejo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Jamoer got a freekick which was hit by Tiar Kaban. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rochy Sinuraya in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joko Barus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Tono Romatua kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Djati Darwis. That made the score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gampengrejo's Fery Mainaky got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rochy Sinuraya was the one to do the kick off. When Robbie Febrian came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Gampengrejo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robbie Febrian couldn't finish the play. When Tono Romatua came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Jamoer fans jumped to their feet. A very good chance for a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Rexy Tarigan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Djati Darwis. Gampengrejo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rexy Tarigan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 71 minutes into the game, Gampengrejo's Robbie Febrian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joko Barus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 78 minutes into the match, Rexy Tarigan notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Gampengrejo's Djati Darwis. Djati Darwis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 83 minutes of play, Jamoer's Tono Romatua made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Djati Darwis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87thth minute of the game Rexy Tarigan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gampengrejo's Djati Darwis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robbie Febrian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joko Barus having to interfere. When Fadh Tarigan fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gampengrejo's protests and gave Fadh Tarigan a yellow card for diving instead. When Jamoer's Rexy Tarigan in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gampengrejo's goalie prevented a goal.
