After having played for 8 minutes, Daus Simanungkalit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kambara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daus Simanungkalit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Kambara defense, Wahyu Waluyo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wahyu Akmal. The Kambara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wahyu Akmal should have stopped the shot. Adith Yarman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kambara's Wahyu Akmal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Kambara from getting a goal against them. Wahyu Akmal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adith Yarman in the 34th minute of the match. Kambara's Wahyu Akmal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adith Yarman in the 35th minute of play. Mahadi Kaban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andi Mulia having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Waibalong's Rexy Mainaky got a free kick in the 41st minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mahadi Kaban was the one to do the kick off. Rexy Mainaky's late challenge caught a Kambara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rexy Mainaky helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Waibalong getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Rexy Mainaky hit a great ball. Daus Simanungkalit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Andi Mulia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Mahadi Kaban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andi Mulia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mahadi Kaban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Andi Mulia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adith Yarman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wahyu Akmal having to interfere. Wahyu Akmal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wahyu Waluyo in the 73rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Waibalong defense, Daus Simanungkalit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andi Mulia. The Waibalong fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andi Mulia should have stopped the shot. If Wahyu Waluyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adith Yarman struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Wahyu Akmal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Waibalong. If Wahyu Waluyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Waibalong's goalkeeper Andi Mulia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wahyu Waluyo in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wahyu Akmal prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
