With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mahadi Karo-karo in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kitam Putiray saved Padanggutyi FC from getting behind. With his leg Zulfikri Romatua managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Padanggutyi FC's Jojo Sitepu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Djantoeran's goalkeeper Zulfikri Romatua, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jojo Sitepu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Darius Sitepu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jojo Sitepu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zulfikri Romatua was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Djantoeran's Dewa Simanungkalit got a free kick in the 17th minute. Kitam Putiray didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mahadi Karo-karo went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Djantoeran's Zulfikri Romatua proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Djantoeran from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darius Sitepu in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zulfikri Romatua saved Djantoeran from getting behind. Darius Sitepu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zulfikri Romatua having to interfere. The Djantoeran fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Djantoeran's Mahadi Karo-karo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Darius Sitepu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Djantoeran's Zulfikri Romatua got control of the ball when Darius Sitepu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mahadi Karo-karo was the one to do the kick off. Jojo Sitepu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zulfikri Romatua having to interfere. Darius Sitepu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Zulfikri Romatua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Djantoeran booed when Padanggutyi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Haryanto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Darius Sitepu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Djantoeran's Zulfikri Romatua was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Padanggutyi FC's zone, Mahadi Karo-karo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kitam Putiray came out of the goal and Mahadi Karo-karo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Darius Sitepu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darius Sitepu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Zulfikri Romatua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zulfikri Romatua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dian Guchi in the 86th minute of the match. If Jojo Sitepu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Padanggutyi FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Djantoeran's performance. The match ended with a win for Djantoeran.
