With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ade Sipayung in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mulyana Chaniago saved Koejoe FC from getting behind. If Ade Sipayung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Ade Sipayung left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Gendo Dewa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Koejoe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gendo Dewa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hastomo Kaban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Golao getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Budi Budiarto hit a great ball. Kia Tarigan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gendo Dewa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mulyana Chaniago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ade Sipayung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee showed Sipiongot Sarwanto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Sipiongot Sarwanto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute Kia Tarigan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hastomo Kaban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Robbie Subagdja's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mulyana Chaniago was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. When Tiar Martin fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Koejoe FC's protests and gave Tiar Martin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Golao booed when Koejoe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiar Martin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gendo Dewa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Hastomo Kaban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Golao players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
