The supporters of PSM Tjikoeloer booed when Tandoboelio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romi Putiray didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bongky Wibowo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruslan Sugendo in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rio Tarigan in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Micky Febrian saved PSM Tjikoeloer from getting behind. Rio Tarigan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Micky Febrian having to interfere. Rio Tarigan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PSM Tjikoeloer's Micky Febrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yahya Dewa in the 23rd minute of play. Ruslan Sugendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Tandoboelio FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Daus Sinuhaji hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Tandoboelio FC's goalkeeper Bongky Wibowo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruslan Sugendo. Bongky Wibowo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Mulia, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th of the match, Robbie Mulia tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Bongky Wibowo got in the way and made a wonderful save. Robbie Mulia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruslan Sugendo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Bongky Wibowo made a huge save. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tandoboelio FC's goalkeeper Bongky Wibowo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Romi Putiray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tandoboelio FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PSM Tjikoeloer the free kick. Romi Putiray hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

When PSM Tjikoeloer's Robbie Mulia in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tandoboelio FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Robbie Mulia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ruslan Sugendo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bongky Wibowo was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Micky Febrian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rio Tarigan in the 95th minute of the match. The Tandoboelio FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tandoboelio FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
