The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jakob Ramadhonna during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jakob Ramadhonna hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Ruslan Sugendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Martin Suprianto sped through PSM Tjikoeloer's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Micky Febrian. PSM Tjikoeloer's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Jakob Ramadhonna scored to the left of an out of position Micky Febrian, making the score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robbie Mulia to strike the kick off in the second half. Martin Suprianto struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Micky Febrian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kotanopan. Martin Suprianto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the PSM Tjikoeloer defense, Jakob Ramadhonna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Micky Febrian. The PSM Tjikoeloer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Micky Febrian should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the match, PSM Tjikoeloer's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Suprianto came free, but Micky Febrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Budi Subagdja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruslan Sugendo in the 77th minute. After 81 minutes, Bulsky Prima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kotanopan and the PSM Tjikoeloer players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Kotanopan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bulsky Prima to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Eboy Sitepu managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Henry Barus notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of PSM Tjikoeloer's Micky Febrian. Micky Febrian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kotanopan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
