Tindawi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Djroengmali the free kick. Fadhly Sarwanto's late challenge caught a Djroengmali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fadhly Sarwanto helped the player get up and apologised. Fadhly Sarwanto kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Micky Simamora in the 15th minute of play forced Tindawi FC's goalkeeper Donny Suprianto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes, Andre Romatua made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Djroengmali's Ari Mulia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ferry Barus might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ari Mulia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferry Barus ran back to his position shaking his head. If Hastomo Darwis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tindawi FC's Ichwan Hidayat got a free kick in the 37th minute. Tindawi FC's Donny Suprianto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Tindawi FC from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ferry Barus made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tindawi FC's goalkeeper Donny Suprianto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tindawi FC's Fadhly Sarwanto got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Micky Simamora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donny Suprianto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Donny Suprianto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hastomo Darwis in the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 minutes of play Tindawi FC's Fadhly Sarwanto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Tindawi FC's Fadhly Sarwanto got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 70 minutes into the match, Andre Romatua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ari Mulia. Djroengmali's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andre Romatua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donnie Febrian during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Donnie Febrian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tindawi FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Djroengmali a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Widodo Ramadhonna, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tindawi FC's Donny Suprianto. 4-2. If Andre Romatua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andre Romatua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ari Mulia having to interfere. Andre Romatua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ari Mulia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Djroengmali's Hastomo Darwis got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Djroengmali's zone, Andre Romatua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ari Mulia came out of the goal and Andre Romatua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
