Bongky Perangin-angin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Micky Sinuhaji, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. A collision led to Muaramuntai FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Joshua Tarigan hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Putu Sugendo got free with Bongky Perangin-angin in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st match minute Wahyu Panjaitan ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Bongky Perangin-angin. 1-1. PSS Lanana's Putu Sugendo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Micky Dermawan to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of PSS Lanana booed when Muaramuntai FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ichwan Perangin-angin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute of the match Wahyu Panjaitan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bongky Perangin-angin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bongky Perangin-angin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Micky Sinuhaji in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Muaramuntai FC's Fery Ketaren got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 63 minutes, Candra Bangun made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. PSS Lanana's Taufik Ramadhonna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
