The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uum Ridliwan during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Moearaikoer getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Uum Ridliwan hit a great ball. When Boy Piliang came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Perkoein FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boy Piliang couldn't finish the play. Donny Subagdja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boy Piliang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fadhly Dermawan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Budi Sarwanto in the 13th minute of play. Dede Ie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Fadhly Dermawan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Perkoein FC booed when Moearaikoer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hendrawan Darwis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dede Ie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Dede Ie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dede Ie struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Fadhly Dermawan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moearaikoer. Sigit Muchtaji kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Uum Ridliwan got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Moearaikoer getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Uum Ridliwan hit a great ball. Dede Ie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fadhly Dermawan having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Moearaikoer's goalkeeper Donny Subagdja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Piliang. Taufik Ketaren charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taufik Ketaren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, Moearaikoer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taufik Ketaren to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boy Piliang was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Daus Sinuhaji notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Moearaikoer's Donny Subagdja. Donny Subagdja was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mario Piliang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Donny Subagdja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Daus Sinuhaji hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Dede Ie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moearaikoer's supporters rose to their feet, but Dede Ie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fadhly Dermawan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donny Subagdja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boy Piliang in the 70th minute of the match. Mario Piliang might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donny Subagdja. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Piliang ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute Mario Piliang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donny Subagdja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daus Sinuhaji's late challenge caught a Moearaikoer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daus Sinuhaji helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Perkoein FC got a freekick which was hit by Daus Sinuhaji. Dede Ie's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fadhly Dermawan firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 90 minutes, Taufik Ketaren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moearaikoer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taufik Ketaren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Boy Piliang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perkoein FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Boy Piliang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donny Subagdja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Moearaikoer players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Perkoein FC.
