Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Darius Haryanto started the match with the kick off. Rexy Oktavianus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darius Haryanto in the 7th minute of play. Firdaus Mulia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hastomo Putiray in the 9th minute of the match. Hastomo Putiray might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Firdaus Mulia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hastomo Putiray ran back to his position shaking his head. Hastomo Putiray scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Firdaus Mulia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the last second Rexy Oktavianus throw himself and got hold of the ball when Darius Haryanto in the 23rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 25 minutes into the match, PSP Kotaboenan's goal looked a bit too open when Rochy Ie came free, but Firdaus Mulia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hastomo Putiray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Rochy Ie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Firdaus Mulia was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 29th minute, Hastomo Putiray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hastomo Putiray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Firdaus Mulia having to interfere. If Darius Haryanto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hastomo Putiray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mulyana Suprianto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Mendalangar FC's goalkeeper Rexy Oktavianus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dede Martin. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Dede Martin managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSP Kotaboenan's supporters rose to their feet, but Dede Martin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rexy Oktavianus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hastomo Putiray stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Mendalangar FC's Hastomo Putiray slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Firdaus Mulia. That made the score 1-2 after 53 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in PSP Kotaboenan's zone, Hastomo Putiray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Firdaus Mulia came out of the goal and Hastomo Putiray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mendalangar FC's Rexy Oktavianus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darius Haryanto in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute Dede Martin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rexy Oktavianus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Mendalangar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mulyana Suprianto to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mendalangar FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Mulyana Suprianto hit a great ball. Firdaus Mulia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hastomo Putiray in the 75th minute of play. Mulyana Suprianto hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Rochy Ie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mendalangar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rochy Ie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Hastomo Putiray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
