A collision led to Batudjadjar FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Zulfikri Pane hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, PSM Tjiujah's Bento Akmal got a free kick in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the PSM Tjiujah defense, Tiar Wibowo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lelo Ketaren. The PSM Tjiujah fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lelo Ketaren should have stopped the shot. Haikal Haryanto-Ie who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Rexy Arbi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djati Simanungkalit in the 24th minute of play forced PSM Tjiujah's goalkeeper Lelo Ketaren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Porman Sugendo fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PSM Tjiujah's protests and gave Porman Sugendo a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes PSM Tjiujah got a freekick which was hit by Porman Sugendo. Haikal Haryanto-Ie's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rexy Arbi firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ade Subagdja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ade Subagdja made a kick off. Tiar Wibowo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Lelo Ketaren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. PSM Tjiujah's Haikal Haryanto-Ie got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Batudjadjar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haikal Haryanto-Ie came free, but Rexy Arbi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Djati Simanungkalit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batudjadjar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Djati Simanungkalit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind PSM Tjiujah's goalkeeper Lelo Ketaren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rexy Arbi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ade Subagdja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PSM Tjiujah's Lelo Ketaren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save PSM Tjiujah from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute, Djati Simanungkalit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, PSM Tjiujah's Lelo Ketaren got control of the ball when Tiar Wibowo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute Djati Simanungkalit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lelo Ketaren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lelo Ketaren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Djati Simanungkalit in the 95th minute of the match. If Tiar Wibowo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Batudjadjar FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
