Ichwan Sembiring could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Joshua Haryanto made a huge save. After some careless play in the Siulakdera FC defense, Taufik Sembiring kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sigit Akmal. The Siulakdera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sigit Akmal should have stopped the shot. Taufik Sembiring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigit Akmal having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Tanjungrejo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Oktavianus to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hardy Ginting during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tanjungrejo booed when Siulakdera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hardy Ginting didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Siulakdera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andi Eiboy came free, but Sigit Akmal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanjungrejo were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Siulakdera FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andi Eiboy took the corner. The corner led Tanjungrejo's Bongky Simanungkalit to fire away a dangerous shot which Sigit Akmal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Siulakdera FC's Hardy Ginting got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Taufik Sembiring blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sigit Akmal having to make a save. Andi Eiboy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigit Akmal having to interfere. Taufik Sembiring received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Sigit Akmal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Siulakdera FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tanjungrejo were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nasum Sipayung was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Siulakdera FC's goalkeeper Sigit Akmal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Taufik Sembiring. Nasum Sipayung's late challenge caught a Tanjungrejo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nasum Sipayung helped the player get up and apologised. Joshua Haryanto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ichwan Sembiring, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Joshua Haryanto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ichwan Sembiring in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Siulakdera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gendo Dewa to maneuver through the defense. Sigit Akmal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andi Eiboy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tanjungrejo's Joshua Haryanto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasum Sipayung in the 82nd minute of play. When Bongky Simanungkalit fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tanjungrejo's protests and gave Bongky Simanungkalit a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Andi Eiboy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sigit Akmal. That made the score 0-2 in the 88 minute of play.
