In the 6th minute, Gendo Sitepu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alan Ridliwan struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Jojo Ie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Awyak FC. When Zulfikri Darwis fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buaugan's protests and gave Zulfikri Darwis a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Buaugan got a freekick which was hit by Zulfikri Darwis. Uum Priyatno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jojo Cahyono Putro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wahyu Perangin-angin having to interfere. Alan Ridliwan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wahyu Perangin-angin came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Buaugan's Gendo Ketaren. But to his dismay, Gendo Ketaren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Awyak FC's Wahyu Perangin-angin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jojo Cahyono Putro in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Gendo Ketaren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wahyu Perangin-angin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Uum Priyatno took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jojo Ie to make any attempt to save it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Uum Priyatno might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jojo Ie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uum Priyatno ran back to his position shaking his head. Gendo Ketaren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Wahyu Perangin-angin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pandapotan Barus fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Awyak FC's protests and gave Pandapotan Barus a yellow card for diving instead. Pandapotan Barus kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Rio Pane was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jojo Ie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Ridliwan in the 66th minute of play. After 69 minutes, Cecep Budikusuma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buaugan and the Awyak FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Awyak FC booed when Buaugan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecep Budikusuma didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes Awyak FC got a freekick which was hit by Boy Perangin-angin. 75 minutes into the match, Awyak FC's Uum Priyatno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jojo Ie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 76 minutes, Alan Ridliwan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Awyak FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Ridliwan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Uum Priyatno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Awyak FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Uum Priyatno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jojo Ie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cecep Budikusuma hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Jojo Ie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uum Priyatno in the 87th minute of play. If Jojo Cahyono Putro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Awyak FC's goalkeeper Wahyu Perangin-angin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jojo Ie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Ridliwan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
